Perintah Prabowo ke Menkes: Setiap Kabupaten Harus Ada RS Modern

Solo, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto wants every district to have state-of-the-art and modern hospitals. This is part of the government's efforts to provide adequate healthcare to the public, a direct order from Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin .

This was stated by Prabowo when inaugurating the Emirates Cardiology Hospital - Indonesia ( KEI ), in Solo, Central Java, Wednesday (11/19/2025).

"I also told the Minister of Health that I want every city and district to have a sophisticated hospital like this. In the next four years, we will strive to achieve that," said Prabowo , referring to the Emirates Cardiology Hospital - Indonesia.

Prabowo stated that his current government has allocated significant funds for healthcare services. He not only aims to improve hospital standards, but also wants to increase the number of medical personnel, including doctors and nurses, to meet the needs across the region.

This includes increasing the number of medical education facilities in various regions and providing full scholarships to students who wish to pursue a career in medicine.

"The Minister of Health suggested to me that we need to add 30 new medical faculties. That's 30, and I also asked for an increased allocation of students specifically for doctors at the existing ones," Prabowo said .

"I'm trying to ensure that most, if possible all, God willing , will receive full scholarships. Full scholarships. So, our education will include full scholarships for medical, nursing, and paramedical personnel," he continued.

On that occasion, Prabowo also revealed plans to build 66 new hospitals, commissioned by the Minister of Health. He specifically requested that these hospitals meet state-of-the-art standards.

"And I've actually allocated and instructed the Minister of Health to immediately build 66 new hospitals, and construction has already begun. But I've asked that these 66 hospitals be built to the same standards as this hospital," he said .
